I'm a strategic communications professional who helps businesses and entrepreneurs to raise their game. I provide training courses and coaching packages which upskill teams and individuals while my consulting services help entrepeneurs to articulate their investment case and secure funding. My training courses are tailored to meet the specific needs of both in-house and agency professionals. Some clients wish to incorporate my training into their induction programmes for new joiners while others use my training to 'round out' the skillsets of their people or to build confidence and competence following promotion or other changes in circumstance. Whether its about contributing to a pitch process, managing agency relationships, speaking to journalists or preparing for a results announcement, my training is practical, interactive and draws on real-life experience. The coaching side of my business is focused on supporting communications professionals to do two things: Create their own vision of what success looks like, and then achieve it. I work with people who are new in their roles as well as those who are more experienced. The impact of regular coaching is huge! People achieve their ambitions quicker when they have a clear vision, a road map to get there, and some accountability. Along the way they also build self esteem, self compassion and emotional resilience, leading to improved mental health, productivity and engagement.My consulting services focus on pitch support for entrepreneurs and strategy day facilitation. Pitch support refers to the support I give start ups and scale ups ahead of fund raising. I provide advice on the articulation of the investment case, business narrative and strategy as well as feedback and guidance on pitch delivery. Worked with a range of companies (predominantly in FS and Consumer sectors) advising board members, communications and investor relations professionals on their stakeholder communications strategy and reputation.Worked with clients to ensure they have the right narrative in place to showcase their corporate strategy, competitive advantages and track record. Found ways to strengthen their reputation with a range of audiences from investors to the media, to their own employees. I also prepared my clients for the scrutiny they may encounter around strategic announcements, transactions and crises.
