In May of 2013, I graduated Cum Laude from Keene State College in Keene, NH. I received my BA in Theatre/Dance, specializing in Dance Education; BA in English, and Writing minor. I have always had great interest in the humanities, and focusing on these two disciplines of Theater/Dance and English has made me even more passionate about literature and the arts.I started dancing ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, and jazz from 1995-2009 at Dance Step of Berlin, CT. I decided to go to KSC, and studied Modern Dance, Ballet, African dance, and Belly Dancing. I had two internships as well through the Dance Education Department teaching children aged 4-10 years old. I became a member of the KSC Ballroom Dance Club taught by Richard Clough from Keene Fusion Studios. I was the Treasurer in 2010, and President from 2010-2013.After graduation, I studied at La Bella Vita Arts Summer Dance Intensive for 6 weeks. In July 2013, I became a dance instructor at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in both South Windsor, and West Springfield locations.My partner and I are now the proud owners of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of West Springfield, and are looking forward to sharing our love of dance with the community.

ChoreographerKeene State College Sep 2011 - Dec 2011Keene, NhI choreographed a dance titled, “No Time”, which was featured in our Choreography Showcase of 2011. The theme of my dance work was to illustrate our restless consciousness as a society, and how we must always be rushing to fit everything into our daily lives. "No Time" explores the ways in which we sever parts of ourselves as we give in to our constant need for movement. By the end of the piece, two of the dancers are consumed by frantically rushed and repetitive movement, and the other two dancers are dancing the same movements as the others, but are moving slowly reflecting on each of their movements.
