They provide interdisciplinary leadership training, faculty development, continuing education, scholarship, technical assistance and collaboration with MCH programs, Title V Programs in state departments of public health, State Adolescent Health Coordinators, policymakers and professional organizations concerned with the health of adolescents. Leadership training produces the manpower for the next generation of leaders who will influence and train clinicians, public policy and public health experts, investigators and educators. All of these individuals will move the field forward by improving clinical services, program development and research/evaluation.

Research topic: Radiation regulations that adequately protect the reproductive phase of the human life cycle The primary goal of Reach is to enhance the capacity of participants to understand and utilize the best environmental reproductive health science to promote science‐based health standards and policy in the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA). Reach draws upon best practices for adult learning, which emphasize the importance of learning by doing. Participants develop the tools and skills to effectively engage key offices and staff members within the US EPA and contribute to immediate and lasting changes in environmental health policy.

IPPNW was awarded the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize-Organized an international peace bike tour for 18 participants from 8 countries to meet with elected officials, activists, and those impacted by nuclear radiation from 40 years of nuclear weapons testing in Kazakhstan-Spokesperson for international, national, and local press conferences and meetings with elected officials -Managed a $25,000 budget that I fundraised from a starting budget of less than $1,000 -Managed a 4-person team from four countries (Kazakhstan, India, Estonia, and U.S.)-Collaborated with local and national government officials and media within Kazakhstan -Recruited, screened, and selected international applicants to participate
