Via peer election, I have had the opportunity to once again serve on the Selection Committee, having previously holding the position from 2007 – 2013. The Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative is a collaboration of non-profit homebuyer counseling agencies, lending institutions, real estate professionals, government officials, and other key players in the homeownership industry in Massachusetts. Formed in December 1996, the Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative has become the mechanism for professionalizing, improving, and bringing standards and consistency to the quality of homebuyer education services across the state.The Selection Committee, whose members are elected to staggered two-year terms by the Collaborative, determines awarding of the Collaborative Seal of Approval.

Promote and execute Cambridge Trust’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Program throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Partner with local municipalities and non-profits to grow homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income resident through the loan origination of affordable loan programs. Develop and promote community partnerships non-profit organizations, government entities, and local affordable housing and community development agencies.

As a senior staff member, I oversee programs and resource development operations. I guide Allston Brighton CDC’s education and coaching program for first-time homebuyers, the Community Building and Engagement team, Resident Services, oversee all aspects of organizational communications and am a lead member of the Resource Development team. I am a skilled grant writer and steward and grow donor relations.I led the process of transitioning a successful neighborhood based program into a social venture that serves increased numbers of low- and moderate-income first-time homebuyers throughout Massachusetts. The Homebuying Mentors provides high quality services to low- and moderate-income first-time homebuyers so they may purchase homes safely and affordably. 30% of The Homebuying Mentors’ graduates purchase homes.In my tenure at Allston Brighton CDC I have honed my skills and successes in strategic planning, supervision and team building, program growth, client management, data management, evaluation and reporting, donor management, communications and design, marketing and branding. I began my work at Allston Brighton CDC coaching low- and moderate-income residents to grow and build assets. I served as Interim Executive Director in 2009 and supported our asset management operations for Allston Brighton CDC’s portfolio of 473 affordable rental units in 2010.

The Midas Collaborative's mission is to support low- and moderate-income Massachusetts residents in their pursuit of economic security. I am a founding board member of The Midas Collaborative. Durning my tenure as Board Presidents I led the Board through a development process focused on building capacity, growing the Board in both experience and expertise with a focus on effective governance and increased unrestricted fundraising.

Provided education and coaching for tenants and landlords with a focus on affordable housing.

In my time at Pine Street Inn I managed volunteers and the receipt of in-kind donations to support the guests of the Inn.
