Assisted the financial audit team in monitoring Amtrak’s independent public accountant (IPA) to assess whether the IPA materially complies with generally accepted government auditing standards when conducting Amtrak’s Consolidated Financial Statement Audit (CFSA) and the Uniform Guidance (UG) Single Audit and monitoring Amtrak’s facilitation of the audit and administration of its IPA contract. Attended key meetings and prepared summaries of the meeting.
