Graphic Designer
Current• Design, prioritize and meet project deadlines for logos, brochures, flyers, posters, display boards, infographics, digital graphics, web images, social media graphics, PowerPoint presentations, campaigns, advertisements and all requested materials for internal and external clients• Retouch and manipulate photos• Attend brainstorming meetings and collaborate strategically as a team player in a cross-functional team environment on campaigns internally and with outside agencies• Edit maps, schedules and lay out the 300+ page Transit Book twice a year• Research industry information to assist in updating maps, schedules and processes• Oversee brand development and ensure proper implementation and consistency throughout the organization. Make sure outside agencies are using the brand correctly• Create shot lists and accompany photographer on photo shoots to provide creative direction• Attend vendor press checks to ensure company brand and colors are properly implemented• Design and present concepts to internal staff and executives for upcoming campaigns and special events• Considered intermediate level in setting up files as accessible pdfs• Utilize project management software such as Filemaker Pro, DaVinci and Workfront• Lead graphics team in monthly meetings and assist with questions regarding software• Setup Creative Cloud libraries to enhance productivity for the graphic designers• Acting liaison between artists and Valley Metro’s Artsline program, assist in selection process
