Encounter People, Uncover Stories. I am the Empathy Architect for the New Rules Collective and a former ER RN for TMHI was born and raised in Miami FL and moved to Tallahassee, FL in 2011. I received my Bachelors degree in Nursing from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. I also hold two minors in Mathematics and Chemistry from Florida State University. I worked in the Emergency Room at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for 4+ years, and held certifications for PALS, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) which specializes in nonviolent communication. The nature of my profession has allowed me to practice the art of Empathy under high stress, high pressure situations, while my work in research and as a teacher for the New Rules Collective and Nehemiah Institute respectively has allowed me to better understand and share the skills I’ve been using for years.I have a deep value for human life and connection with a passion to make room for human flourishing at an individual, corporate, societal, and national level.
