I am currently working as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFUND Research Fellow in the ALECS Programme, in Lero - The Irish Software Research Centre, based in the University of Limerick. The project I am working on is titled "BREASTech: Increasing physical activity in breast cancer patients through technology enabled care" and is focused on using Connected.

I worked as a Senior Research Associate within the Research Group in Breast Health, where I investigated breast movement in relation to varied levels of breast support, in an effort to enhance the development of optimal breast support garments. On a day-to-day basis my role involved participant recruitment, data collection utilising electromagnetic.

In 2017 I completed a structured PhD in Sports Biomechanics entitled "Variability in recreational runners: A stride time analysis perspective", in the Physical Education and Sport Sciences Department of UL. My project revolved around the analysis of recreational runners lower limb patterns over a longitudinal half marathon/marathon training programme.

During my time as a PhD researcher I also tutored on a number of kinesiology based modules within the BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences. These include Anatomy & Kinesiology and Sports Injuries modules.

Recipient of a Physical Education and Sport Sciences Summer Internship which allowed me to undertake data analysis for previously collected data. This included parameter identification from both kinematic (3D motion capture) and kinetic (force plate) data primarily

Recipient of an Education and Health Sciences Summer Research Bursary which allowed me to complete an 8 week research period within the realm of Sports Projectiles and Measurement. For this research I created a novel method of using the Optojump measurement system for projectile performance measurement. From this 8 week period I produced two conference.

Study of Anatomy and Biomechanics. Working in the on-campus college clinic aiding injured college athletes whilst using and observing the use of equipment such as the hot/cold baths, ultrasound therapy, e-stem, GameReady and also learning taping techniques. Also observed and implemented rehab programmes on athletes 3 times a week.
