This year I was responsible for the wellbeing of 30 students in China. It is a course offerred by the University of Canterbury that allows students to immerse themselves in Chinese culture and learn about Chinese customs, business practices and the Mandarin language. In 2013 I expanded this role to encompass more opportunities for students in China including an excursion to visit the tiny canal town of Tongli, a trip to the Huangshan mountains and triweekly boot camps.
