Our expert-led platform provides support to employees through major life events. We ensure that people leaders can implement policies such as fertility policy, maternity and paternity leave policy (do you know 70% of people sad there was no clear re-onboarding plan post family leave - yikes!)Modern family life doesn't slow down when the toddler years are over, we provide guidance to parents navigating child anxiety, teenage years, exams & much more. There are so many moments in family life that can cause friction between family and career. Our aim is to minimise these pressure points to ensure people can continue with their career while navigating family life. HR work so hard to ensure the best policies are in place but can your managers support the people behind the policies? 8/10 managers say they can't! There are people in your organisation who have no lived experience of the policies they are implementing. People leaders who are managing parents but are not parents themselves. People leaders supporting employees through major life events such as maternity, paternity, miscarriage, IVF, menopause alongside having to deliver business KPIs and objectives. That's what we do Platform55. Why did I co-found Platform55? I was promoted to Managing Director of the Irish Times Digital Media Agency (Electric Media) 24 hours before my first baby arrived. This gave me first-hand experience of holding a senior position while having a young family, and an understanding of all the challenges that brings.
