Negotiated a reduction in direct expenses by 100% by implementing robust testing procedures, resulting in the procurement of hardware (GPS devices) and software (firmware for devices) and achieving high quality data with favorable contract terms. Lansing, Michigan Area

Worked on the Michigan Statewide Base Map project. Conflated TIGER (US Census Bureau) line files to the spatially correct Michigan Resource Inventory Program road network. Then verified / edited network direction, address ranges and right and left zip codes using ArcInfo 7.x on UNIX. Once the data were correct, the Michigan Accident Location Index (MALI) was merged with the GIS data layers using a combination of ArcInfo and FoxPro.
