I am a sophomore at the University of California, Merced majoring in Political Science. My passion lies in understanding how marginalized communities - particularly former foster youth - interact with the justice system. As an aspiring criminal defense attorney, I have dedicated many hours to offices serving a variety of populations such as Services for Undocumented Students and the Guardian Scholars Program. I was first exposed to the legal domain through civic involvement, legal offices, and academic leadership roles. I am also the founder of my entrepreneurial venture, L'image Flowers. With around 200+ sales in Korean floral arrangements and a growing Instagram following @limageflowers, it's become a campus favorite with collaborations across various student organizations and businesses. I am particularly interested in exploring the impact of the justice system on marginalized communities, and I am committed to making a positive change through my work and studies.
