Led the design team in creating fresh concepts for Nike digital work such as app promos, emails, integrated media kits, and social media ads. Hired on a freelance basis by Swift Agency in Portland, Oregon to assist with a large-scale digital marketing campaign for PayPal. Tasked with creating the initial design layouts for several advertisements using key UX/UI knowledge and strong interactive and digital illustration skills. Work was received enthusiastically and the freelance position was extended multiple times to include both digital and print projects for large clients such as Google, Gatorade, and more.

Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Responsible for leading the charge with all graphic design projects. Refreshed the company’s brand identity. Led the team in social media, web design, flyers, event displays, print ads, and more. Discussed projects with clients, collaborated with coworkers to develop content, and mentored junior designers.

Minneapolis, Minnesota

Created websites, digital ads, interactive graphics, editorials, and more for various clients in Minneapolis, MN. As the sole designer for the agency, often tasked with creative concepting with copywriters and art directors. Designed full print layouts, gave art direction, attended photo/video shoots, and reviewed press checks. Prepared decks and presented work to a variety of clients professionally.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Worked under the direction of the owner, Jane Tilka, and two senior designers for clients such as U.S. Bank, American Institute of Architects (AIA), and Gold Medal Park in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The print and web designs completed for each project involved a critical design process which included communicating professionally with clients, prioritizing, as well as utilizing the Adobe CC and Microsoft Office programs.

White Bear Lake Junior Olympics

Taught girls ages 10–13 the sport of volleyball. Promoted from assistant to head coach in January 2015. Ran practices and coached weekend tournaments while improving team building, athletic skills and positive attitudes. Developed game strategies based on strengths of the team.

Stillwater, Minnesota

Collaborated with a team of six designers to produce all mock-up requests for clients such as Target, Staples and William Sonoma. Combined artistic skills with precise attention to detail to create high-quality prototypes in a deadline-driven environment.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Responsible for the arrangement and digital presentation of illustrations by Jack Malloy, a client of Werner Design Werks. Studied in the office as an intern under Sharon Werner, Abby Haddican and Sarah Forss.

Saint Paul

Coordinated monthly art shows and receptions which included planning, marketing, staffing, set-up, and take-down. Determined the placement of 10–15 gallery assistants while utilizing leadership skills, important attention to detail, and problem-solving while hanging and arranging artwork.

Shakopee Mn

Designed three daily live racing programs each week by collaborating with four different departments within Canterbury Park. Responsible for the design and functionality of the program distributed to tens of thousands of visitors each weekend in the summer. Gained excellent knowledge of the print production process.

Camp Heritage Lino Lakes

Put together summer arts and crafts curriculum for kids of all different age groups every week of the summer. Led the camp along with four others on the Camp Heritage leadership team. Became certified in CPR and helped to ensure the safety of all the children of the camp.

My responsibilities included hanging the artwork for gallery showings and taking down the work when the show was over. Also, I was responsible for basic cleaning duties in the gallery and the art building such as sweeping, re-arranging, dusting and cleaning windows.
