I have the pleasure of practicing law as a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group at Certilman Balin, where I represent clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions, including contracts and closings (for new construction and resales for single and multi-family homes, condominiums, co-ops, commercial properties, and development sites), downtown redevelopment projects, commercial leasing, financing, land use and zoning transactions, as well as Industrial Development Agency benefit transactions. Active in my community, I serve as a mentor in the Lawyer’s Involved in Kid’s Education (LIKE) program, an affiliation of the Long Island Mentoring Partnership, mentoring “at risk” fourth and fifth grade students. I serve as Co-President of the Parent’s Association at my children’s school, The Bridges Academy in West Islip. In addition, I have had the pleasure of serving on the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Luncheon Committee. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Business Administration from Sacred Heart University, I accepted a position as a financial analyst in the FP&A department of FCB Worldwide, a global advertising agency. At FCB, I analyzed revenue variances among budgets, updates and actual data for global clients generating significant revenues, prepared analytics used by corporate management to identify areas requiring attention and worked with regional teams across the globe to consolidate and analyze revenue and corresponding expense data originating from organic growth and new business wins. I attended the Hofstra University School of Law in the evening and graduated in January 2011. As a law school student, I served as an Associate Editor of the Hofstra Law Review and was an active member of the Italian Law Students Association and Phi Alpha Delta. I earned the distinction of graduating magna cum laude and placed in the top 3% of my class, encompassing both full time and evening students. I am admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and am a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.
