Experienced liaison for public, private, and governmental representatives regarding environmental policies and regulations.Team lead overseeing departmental aspects, impacts, objectives, and targets assigned by TransLink Directors and Executives.Responsible for monitoring TransLink’s energy (electricity and natural gas), hazardous waste, recycling/landfill, wastewater treatment plant sampling, and municipal/provincial regulations.

(8 month contract from June 2022-February 2023; 6 month contract August 2023 - January 2024) Responsible for inspections, reports, and scheduling quarterly departmental committee meetings, environmental retraining sessions in support of TransLink operations.Monitoring of energy (electricity and natural gas), hazardous waste, recycling/landfill, wastewater treatment plant and bus wash monitoring and sampling of TransLink transit centres.Departmental operational support to Burnaby and SeaBus Transit Centres: Infrastructure and Maintenance, Bus Maintenance Garages, Fleet Overhaul, Inventory Control, Plumbers, Electricians, service technicians, and third-party contractors.

Emergency end of season hire to assist in conflict management of McDonald Creek Provincial Park. Staff and visitor experience had undergone a tumultuous start of the season which ended successfully through collaborative, supportive, problem solving, and adaptive teamwork with staff, visitors, and the community of Nakusp.

Lead Officer within the Lower Mainland and Kootenay Region regarding invasive aquatic inspections, outreach, investigations, and quarantines of high-risk watercraft; employee scheduling; and logistics to coordinating governmental inspections near Canada/U.S. border crossings and CVSE operated weigh scale stations through collaboration with federal government departments.
