PLNT (destijds HUBspot) opende in 2016 als hét centrum voor innovatie & ondernemerschap in Leiden. In samenwerking met de grote Leidse onderwijsinstellingen, gemeente en werkgevers in de regio bouwden we aan een plek waar (sociaal)ondernemerschap en innovatie op regionaal niveau kon worden geïnspireerd, aangejaagd en gefaciliteerd. Ik was verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling van het inhoudelijke programma bestaande uit o.a. een (pre-incubatie) startup traject, een traject gericht op intrapreneurship (21e-eeuwse vaardigheden) en bijvoorbeeld een traject in samenwerking met lokale ondernemers gericht op netwerken en kennisdeling. LTD Danceschool & Foundation (started out as Stichting Acception) is a social enterprise with the mission to offer inspiring and fun acitivities to take responsibility as a world citizen. We combine a very committed community of student volunteers, a commercialized business (danceschool) and educational projects both nationally as internationally. Inclusivity, action, education and dance are key words.As a co-founder and managing director I was closely involved in the development and implementation of our projects. These are both in the field of small-scale international development and in the field of stimulating public support, involvement and awareness on international affairs. My responsibilities as owner and board member were set around business development and policy determination. On a more executive level my tasks varied around coordination of the volunteers, fundraising, community/network building, event coordination and also giving workshops and volunteering in our development projects.In 2014 I have stepped away from this organization trusting that it will keep growing and making this world a little bit better day by day.

During my studies at Leiden University I worked as a part-time trainer/instructor and coordinator in the sports sector. Motivated by a personal interest in sport and health and the ambition to inspire and encourage others to be the best and healthiest version of themselves. Through my own education and practical experience I have learned a lot about; coaching techniques, group management, body & mind connection, public speaking and teaching.I also gained experience as team coordinator. This involved managing a team of 15 instructors and being accountable for the continuity and quality of the classes for a fitness center with more than 4000 members. Besides this I developed and coordinated several (sports) events in collaboration with local CSO's, entrepreneurs and government institutions. Always aiming at a merging of commercial and social interests.
