YouAreUNLTD is a B2B2C publishing brand designed to disrupt and redefine what it means to get older. From calling out ageism to exploring the latest technologies, highlighting health trends and sourcing expert opinions from HCPs and researchers, I worked to helped the company establish a fresh voice, with evidence-based content designed to promote healthy aging and attitudes. YouAreUNLTD published a quarterly magazine (180,000 copies distributed by Shoppers Drug Mart); and continues to publish daily digital content and a weekly newsletter, UNLTD Insights. I defined and oversaw the company's editorial vision and worked with a passionate team to bring it to fruition across all platforms.

Defined all editorial content for this weekly digital publication delivered to the inboxes of retail experts, developers and commercial real estate professionals across Canada. The focus was on highlighting the news and trends that shape Canada's rapidly evolving retail and retail real estate markets. From profiling retailers in expansion to keeping tabs on the changing role of shopping centres, the publication, formerly owned by Rogers Publishing, was the industry's go-to source for consumer insights, expert advice, trends and the latest news/information.

I generated ideas, assigned and edited articles across eight channels for Bankrate.ca, the Canadian version of the high-profile U.S.-based personal finance website, Bankrate.com. In 2006, I started working for Bankrate as a personal finance writer and later author of the popular column, Ask the Expert, before becoming editor in 2012.

Marketing was Canada's definitive source for news, analysis and insights into the business of marketing, targetting influencers at creative, media and PR agencies, as well as the broader marketing community in social media, digital, publishing and ad tech. I covered a wide variety of stories, from daily news pieces to larger features and projects, with a specific focus on Canada's advertising agencies. And, I continued to work for the publication on a freelance and project basis until it was sold by Rogers.
