Operational Effectiveness Manager - Rostering
Current Manage and maintain a whole of organisational view of operational rostering to helpbuild and maintain effective practices to meet agreed strategic and operational priorities,outcomes and accountabilities. Lead by example - providing leadership, direction, mentoring and support to reports(including meaningful performance planning, management and member developmentpractices that cover the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of their roles) that lead to a consistently high –performing, engaged and satisfied rosters and production team. In collaboration with the Planning & Development Team, evaluate and establish valueadded options to rosters that drive efficiency and effectiveness, including tangible costbenefits. Manage statistical data and data input that enables the accurate and timely calculationof roster changes and manage the production of daily rosters, including the promotion ofFind My Shift. Undertake key analysis of recall and casual use and optimise roster development toreduce recall and associated costs. Provide analytical support and reporting in relation to performance, as required tosupport performance improvement and strategic development Manage relationships with Payroll and HR around effective management of sick leaveand return to work practices as they impact on roster production. Build and maintaincollaborative interaction that support the achievement of agreed strategies, savingstargets, plans and priorities. Work to identify both positive and negative aspects of roster production and assist in theauditing and reporting on the human aspects of production. Assist in the development of policies, procedures and systems that ensure compliancewith regulatory and legislative obligations across the whole of operations
