Responsible for overall organization and financial management of the agency, direction of agency operations and functions according to approved policies, procedures and standards. Ensure delivery of quality care to patients, enhancement of business development, and continuous improvement of agency efficiency and fiscal success. Maintain agency in compliance with all CMS regulations, laws, policies and procedures applicable to home health and reimbursement issues. Educate all staff members about state and federal rules and regulations, as well as ACHC and other regulatory agencies standards. Provide leadership in planning for staff education programs, in service and promote continuous education and staff development. Effective problem solving skills using logic, critical thinking and researching the facts before final analysis. Responsible for Oasis-C audit and coding for accuracy and compliance, hold in service for all staff to ensure agency standards and policies are being met and maintained in direct relationship to the homecare patient. Liaison between Marketing staff and Physician office to ensure plan of care/treatment to be followed is maintained and perform efficiently in reference to nursing assessments and clinical documentation. Locking Oasis-C assessment in a timely manner and assure that all pertinent diagnoses are relevant to the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
