Biano is a furniture and decoration discovery engine operating in the CZ, SK, NL, RO, BR.Making furnishing discovery easily accessible with 3,000,000+ listed products organized in 2,500+ categories/filters from 900+ registered sellers for 1,500,000+ monthly users across 5 countries with the help of innovations in fields such as machine learning, computer vision, personalization, and big data.My Position:I joined Biano as a product and design manager among the founding team members at the beginning of the company to take responsibility for the entire user-facing part of the brand and product. I contributed with a team to shape the overall strategy and took ownership for leading, designing, and delivering all related initiatives from initial stages to releases into production.During my time at the company, Biano started from an investor's vision of market opportunity, through the launch of a minimum viable product and business model in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, to pivoting the platform strategy and expanding into additional three countries across two continents, the Netherlands, Romania, and Brazil, with a growing team of over forty hardworking people.This involved:• Contribute to planning the overall product strategy and the roadmap with stakeholders• Own responsibility for the entire user-facing part of the product across all company areas• Collaborate across the company with business, marketing, content, and engineering• Participate in product backlog managing and sprint planning with engineering teams• Drive all aspects of design execution from initial discovery to final delivery into production• Oversee front-end engineering to make front-end scalable, performant, and reliable• Prioritize workload to meet target metrics, quality of outcomes, and multiple deadlines• Participate in the hiring process for product designers and front-end developers👋🏻 A portfolio of selected projects and case studies is provided on request.

I contributed to the team by constantly applying design thinking practices to the product development process for researching, framing, designing, and testing solutions across all product areas to fulfill Heureka's business vision.During my time at the company, Heureka archived eight years on the market with a team of ninety talented people who successfully exited the company from Miton to Allegro.
