My background has combined Product Management, IT, and Operations experience in developing and implementing investment product and superannuation fund rationalisation. This included merger strategies/programs in the life insurance, superannuation and wealth management areas of financial services. I delivered on the organisation’s goal of achieving operating cost savings but also provided better outcomes to investors and members.I did this by ensuring the overarching business objective of any product rationalisation or fund merger initiative was clearly defined, understood and bought into by all stakeholders. I have a track record of meeting program objectives while economically and effectively addressing legal, compliance and Trustee issues and concerns.I am strongly of the view that there is opportunity for further significant rationalisation in the legacy products many of our large financial services organisations continue to operate. From a customer perspective these are expensive and with features lacking when compared to more contemporary offerings and are expensive for operators to administer. I relish the challenge of bringing about a win for both the customer and the product provider/administrator.
