Government Certification/AS9100 Auditing: Expert level knowledge in NASA/Air Force customer certification of SpaceX processes. Helped develop and standup SpaceX AS9100 certification, and have expert level domain knowledge on how to map our processes to customer requirements in order to bid on future missions.2. Pedigree Review: Developed the original pedigree review process, and designed the tools to support customers pulling relevant information from our WARP systems. As Quality Engineering manager, I was responsible for Material Review Board (MRB) at SpaceX and had 3 departments reporting directly to me; SpaceX Quality Engineering team, Quality Records, and Document Control. I was responsible for the integrity of all Quality metrics which are used to measure ourselves based on the SpaceX Quality Objectives• My roll at SpaceX has continued to evolve as a Sr. Program Reliability Engineer in order to support the demanding compliance requirements for our increasing assortment of customers, including NASA Cargo, NASA LSP, Commercial Crew, and EELV Air Force, as well as particular commercial customers , I also helped support the ongoing compliance initiatives to maintain our AS9100D certification in Hawthorne, Vandenberg, Texas and the Cape.Projects/Accomplishments:• Developed the Pedigree Review Process for Air Force and NASA – A pedigree review is an intensive months-long review where our customer looks at every piece of critical hardware for their mission and reviews how it was designed, received, built, tested and assembled from procurement to launch. Taking the lessons learned from conducting the first SpaceX DSCOVR and Jason-3 mission pedigree reviews, I was able to lay the groundwork for how SpaceX will conduct government hardware/pedigree reviews going forward. • Designed, Implemented and Championed an essential application One View of the Mission – I self-taught myself the details of production, scheduling, allocations and MRP in order to lay the foundation for creating this tool. I began to recognize the need for such a tool before SpaceX realized it needed it. I envisioned a tool that would serve as a dynamic hub that pulls in all information about a launch vehicle configuration, assignments, serial numbers, revisions, Engineering Orders, Work Orders, drawings, reference designators, and Issue nonconformances
