The Business Development Manager role is new here at Mallee Resources as we continue to restart the Avebury Mine and push towards nameplate capacity. Whilst there is always lots to do, the key areas of focus continue to be : - Working to manage relationships with federal, state and local government bodies to help develop opportunities for growth- Look at opportunities for downstream manufacturing- Exploring new potential products options,- Review performance and look at opportunities for improvement within the operation

➢ Manage the biggest berry harvest in Australia.➢ Process map and develop systems to create a sustainable harvest environment through the development of a Harvest Framework and documentation.➢ Build and manage OPEX harvest budgets to achieve organisational expectations.➢ Facilitation of workshops to capture harvest logic and design new processes to support the operation.➢ Build engagement across the various farms and stakeholder groups to ensure expectations and requirements were well known and planned for.➢ Providing performance and sharing of harvest knowledge from Tasmania with the wider harvest teams in other regions of Australia.➢ Build a ‘can do’ culture within the team that strives for high performance through engagement and discipline.➢ Perform harvest reviews at the end of each season to develop a pipeline of opportunities for the next season.➢ Drive a step change in the safety performance within Tasmania through bringing a mining industry focus to an agriculture business.

➢ Manage and optimise the fixed plant infrastructure from the ROM onto vessels for the Gove bauxite operation➢ Development of business improvement strategies to effectively increase rate and utilization of fixed infrastructure through data analysis➢ Develop internal organisational structure to support a more specific focus on scheduling, performance and safety➢ Build an energetic ‘can do’ culture within the team to create an agile workforce. ➢ Manage relationships with both internal stakeholders and contractors to ensure planning and interfaces enhance production to deliver on monthly targets.➢ Drive cost initiatives through driver tree analysis to improve financial position.

 - Set the strategic direction for the development of the coal simulation model for BMA within Queensland - Project manage the development and roll out of the coal simulation model ensuring schedule, scope and cost are achieved - Manage the operational readiness function for the seamless integrate the simulation capability into the BMA coal business. - Facilitation of workshops to capture operational logic and scope requirements. - Build engagement across the various sites and stakeholder groups to create a positive image of the Operations Research team. - Providing business context and sharing of operational knowledge with the wider Operations Research team through support and coaching. - Build a culture within the team that strives for high performance through engagement and discipline. - Promote a safety focus within the team culture when both on site and in the head office.

➢ Manage daily production through intense operational management.➢ Develop workforce structure to support operating environment of 55 mtpa.➢ Manage safety to deliver a step change in performance.➢ Manage the maintenance function across Stockyard infrastructure to ensure minimal disruptions to the OPFs whilst minimising costs.➢ Drive the roll out of maintenance workflows throughout other operating disciplines to deliver standardisation across crews.➢ Instil Fortescue’s driving culture into the operational team.➢ Develop operating philosophies for the plant to drive to the bottleneck.➢ Liaise with Projects team to deliver plant modifications to increase capacity.➢ Manage quality and upgrades through the plants whilst maintaining throughput.➢ Deliver a step change in standard of operations management across the Stockyard facility.➢ Drive train loading performance to reduce variability and impact on the supply chain.

➢ Manage capacity determination for the Anderson Point Port facility.➢ Development of integrated Port operating strategies ensuring assets are effectively managed and throughput is maximised.➢ Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure issues associated with throughput of the terminal is not impacted.➢ Providing technical advice to stakeholders on potential future operations and identify strategic opportunities to grow the Terminal.➢ Undertake studies and set strategies for alternate products without impacting throughput.➢ Develop strategies for managing access through the Terminal by 3rd parties including pricing and working with the economic regulator on structures.➢ Review and manage of key contracts for the Terminal ensuring delivery of services as per agreements and fit for purpose.

➢ Manage the development of the OR function for the T155 Port Expansion project.➢ Drive the structure, planning and commissioning of inloading assets➢ Manage the operational interface between EPCM and production activities for removal of barriers and minimal disruption to operations.➢ Provide technical advice and clarification to EPCM on design and construction issues.➢ Develop operating philosophies for the Port Operation at the end of the Expansion project.➢ Providing executive managerial support to head off from site.➢ Manage the implementation of maintenance strategies across the new infrastructure to ensure established prior to commissioning.

➢ Manage the development of short term plans within the Anderson Point Port facility ensuring a balance between maintenance, operations and projects whilst maximising train dumping and ship loading rates.➢ Manage the outflow of ore through the Anderson Point Port facility to ensure quality and shipping requirements are achieved.➢ Development and assessment of port inloading strategies to ensure assets are managed to achieve maximum utilisation and to minimise delays.➢ Co-ordination of CAPEX and OPEX across the Port Operations team to ensure transparency throughout the organisation and targets are achieved.➢ Key interface with the rail and mine production teams ensuring the impact of short term urgent maintenance activities have minimal on production.➢ Manage managerial data and monthly reporting function for the Port Operations management team to identify inefficiencies and areas for business improvement opportunities.
