Created and support digital preservation lab which is a facility for digital access and disk imaging. This includes:- Configuring emulators and emulated environments- Maintaing content dependency documentation system- Document/catalog software, hardware and configured environmentsFormed the Digital Preservation Practical Implementers Guild, currently act as Dean of the Guild.Convened Future Perfect 2010 and Future Perfect 2012 conferences.Completed the Digital Archaeology Project reviewing internal Archives New Zealand digital holdings.Secretary of the TC / DRM Working Group, wrote a factsheet on Trusted Computing and Digital Rights Management for Records Managers (F18).Wrote a factsheet on Decommissioning Websites (F23) with National Library New Zealand.Wrote guide on preferred digital file formats for government agency records.Contributed to the creation of the Interim Digital Archive and the Government Digital Archive.Contributed to the Digital Sustainability Business Case, the Digital Continuity Action Plan and the Government Digital Archive Programme.Conducted Lead and Specialist Agencies project for the Digital Continuity Action Plan.
