Mick Webber is past President and Chief Executive Officer of HydroHoist Marine Group. He spent 34 years with the company, with 14 of those serving as President & CEO and owner of HMG.Webber began his career in the marine industry at HydroHoist when he was still in junior high school. In 1985, with college graduation behind him, Webber started at HydroHoist full time working his way up in the company until he became president, CEO, and owner. In 2019 Mick sold the company, and HydroHoist Marine Group, Inc. (HydroHoist) and ShoreMaster, LLC (ShoreMaster) announced the merger of their businesses. The unified product offering of these industry-leading brands covers the broadest spectrum of boat types, sizes, and marine environments in the industry across all major product categories in the dock, boat lift, and accessories market. The combined enterprise created the largest dock and boat lift player in North America. In 2021 Webber formed WebberLP; a holding company that targets acquisition opportunities of stable companies with an emphasis on manufacturing. In June of that year, WebberLP and Partners purchased Marine Development, Inc. a commercial marina manufacturer. MDI designs, builds, and installs floating docks for commercial marinas, pump stations, wave attenuators, fuel docks, ship stores, and more. MDI was founded in 1991 and has been responsible for providing outstanding products and services for over 40 years with their “on-time, on budget” guarantee. In January of 2022 the partnership group purchased Hydra Service®, industry-leading manufacturer of Dynapower pumps, motors and turbine starters. The team has manufactured thousands of units in its 40 years of service, many remaining in service for decades.Mr. Webber’s continued vision for all businesses he is involved with is to retain existing talent and management, with a commitment to growth, developing new products, opening channels to market, and attracting different customer segments.
