Bringing the S&OP approach to the relationship of Manufacturing and Inventories relationship with international sales teams. Launched conversations with all sales teams globally (over 90 markets in all regions), developed 2-way dialogues over requirements, time frames, accuracy of demand. Developed the calendarised approach and glide path of implementation that the function took forward and uses, key action points, stakeholders, and risks highlighted in a DRM approach. Responsible for demand of over 7000 ISBNs (unique products, international titles and market/country specific) and 18,000,000> units annually. Planning requirements out of multiple printing locations using multiple freight requirements and 2 main warehouses. By using demand data and overlaying to current global situations, I have led projects in order to improve efficiency, reduce costs and transit times of goods, as well as meet green targets. One such project has seen a re-working of relationships with major markets in central Europe which now take a significant amount of stock directly from country of printing without being routed via the main European warehouse. This has saved sizeable amounts of time and cost to both OUP, and also for the customers. This allows the company to better meet its goals of global education provision.Change agent in SAP4HANA & IBP roll out ERP Project. Conducting system design and UAT for seamless implementation.

Working as a lecturer in college one day a week. Focusing on modules under the umbrella of animal management and animal science. Teaching students remotely via Teams, and directly in class. Developing own module content and structure. Across the Spring term 2021, Business Studies for Animal Management, compromising of all relevant areas of marketing, business structure, and finances, as well as other crucial areas within a successful business. Also included bringing in guest speakers from UK leading companies within the sphere, including the founder of one of the largest British Wholesalers and a multi-million pound company which provided an excellent opportunity for the students to engage and learn.

Currently running 4 short term projects looking at:1) Herpetofauna use of termite mounds in the cerrado 2) Whether placement of compost heaps in the Atlantic forest can act as good methods of attracting a variety of biodiversity.3) Assessing the effectivity of various trapping and monitoring methods for anurans at the reserves seasonal pond.4) Whether educating children in rural schools can create greater awareness about snakes in an area where venomous snakes are a small fraction of the species diversity, but have large conflict with local people. I am also looking at the development rates and stages of several anuran species present. As well as taking morphometrics for all herps caught(or found dead); and setting up an enclosure for a tegu to help teach local people about them (tegu hunting for bush meat is a widespread problem).
