To ensure all IT change was architecture led and in line with Future State Architecture, in 2016 I setup the Asset Management IT Design team, a global team of enthusiastic Solution Architects/Designers who worked across all projects / teams within Asset Management IT. One of they key deliverables for the team was the Asset Management Integration Platform (AIP). AIP is a Mulesoft based data integration platform that I acted as Product Owner for with the design team leading the prototyping, design and delivery of the platform. Responsibilities include onboarding/offboarding of Asset Management IT Staff to/from the Stirling site, regular comms and employee exchange initiatives as well as social, volunteering and learning events. Working with other leaders from the site we founded the Stirling Development Programme to coordinate site improvement and collaboration as well as bring the site closer to the 3500 other HSBC employees working in Scotland.In 2014 I created the HSBC Scotland Schools programme to help support schools with their IT and Coding curriculum. Working with STEMNET, the programme enrolled 30+ 'STEM Ambassadors' from within HSBC and working with a core team of enthusiasts for the programme in Stirling we rolled out Coding for schools to over 3000 students in primary and secondary schools throughout scotland.

As a developer for the information services and development team for the Marine Institute I developed a range of data monitoring and acquisition systems that are detailed below:Burrishoole Data Acquisition System (BDAS):This system was designed to update and process the files and data streams from the various monitoring instruments (river monitoring stations, water quality monitors, rain gauges, Water samples, water level recorders, Water temperature Loggers and weather stations) situated around the lakes and waterways in the Burrishoole catchment area. Sea Farer Grants System (C-Farer): An online cadet grants administration system for the Irish Maritime Development Office (IMDO). The system is used by Irish ship owners and international operators globally and was nominated for a cross-divisional excellence award. Fisheries Science Services Voice Reports: The Voice Reports Client is an automated system to ‘read’ back the database version of fisheries datasheet so it can be reconciled against the hand written hard copy and reduce the number of Marine scientists needed to verify the recorded data.Harmful Algal Blooms (HABS): Central data repository and reporting system for the National Marine Bio-toxins Reference Laboratory (NMBRL) for the national monitoring programme for the detection of marine bio-toxins in shellfish.
