I had the pleasure to design and execute the software test campaign for the world's first and best-rated diabetes iPhone App by a blood glucose monitor (BGM) maker, and the world's first BGM-to-iPhone download system.Device testing for blood glucose monitors included the recently launched iBGStar, one of the world's first hardware medical devices to.

Responsible for the first major feature upgrade project for the O-arm, a mobile 3D X-ray system. Responsibility included scope definition and creation of the project plan, keeping the DHF (Design History File), managing product testing, transition to manufacturing, and progress reports to management.

Responsible for managing bill-by-the-hour projects for mission-critical software development. Prime contact to clients reporting bi-weekly project status. Create and review project documentation bound for 510(k) submission. Line manager of 5 software developers.

Built and managed R&D’s software development group. Planned, developed and advised on software-related aspects of chromatography systems, filtration systems and integrity testers used in pharmaceutical production.

Created the Internet Spectrum Archive, an entire web application to compose and publish spectroscopic data (such as NMR, IR and chemical structures) using ASP and VisualBasic on IIS 4.

Recruited to re-join Bruker responsible for user support of NMR data processing software on process in North America. Liaison to three software development groups in Germany. Regularly consulted on lab networking, workflow in the spectroscopy lab and interfacing to corporate databases and corporate IT.
