Officially Un-Retired!Recently, Ken Wills and Dean Metter coaxed me out of retirement to work with QPI in disrupting the status quo for signage and display packaging at retail. Seeking the ideal blend of sustainability and visual allure? Look no further! This solution set and their enthusiasm drove an easy decision. 'They had me at hello!', well, not quite, but as Ken shared his vision incorporating the Kento's In-Line Flexo/Digital/Die Cutting coupled with QPI's well known patented RePaq technology, the allure of the opportunity was overwhelming!Previously, both at WestRock as VP Retail Sales, Merchandising Displays; and, as a former Chair of the Board of Directors at POPAI (now SHOP!), I've had the privilege of leading industry changing initiatives that positively affect both the industry and individuals. From studying why we engage and purchase at retail to how we affect sustainability through effective packaging solutions.I've joined QPI as they focus on "Striking the Perfect Balance: Sustainability Meets High-Impact Graphics!" In the realm of retail packaging, the quest for sustainability doesn't mean sacrificing style. It's about marrying eco-consciousness with eye-catching design. QPI's combination of material, equipment and foresight eliminates plastic signage and display elements while creating vibrant in-store and outdoor solutions that move directly into the recycling stream when their usefulness is exhausted rather than driving more plastic into landfills. VolunteeringMy career in the Merchandising Display world affords me the opportunity to share my time and resources in giving back to the community. We’re all aware of the great needs our neighbors are presently encountering. The experience and training received at WestRock, TimBar (PCA) and POPAI (Shop! Association) position me to focus on strategic engagement for non-profit agencies directly engaged in delivering aid and services to our impacted neighbors.
