I developed and manage the VINE Studio, a collaboration between Farmhand Ventures and the University of California Agriculture & Natural Resources (UCANR) to identify and translate promising research into market viable solutions for agriculture.

Unfold was founded by a $30M joint investment by Temasek and Leaps By Bayer to develop the predictive plant breeding and digital services platform to grow the nascent Vertical Farming industry. As the second employee, I led the set up of corporate operations: finance, accounting, HR, marketing, and initial company strategy. Orange Silicon Valley connects innovators with Orange, one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators. I created and led the Sustainable Food Systems program to explore how hardware and software technology is transforming the food system. We evaluated agriculture, aquaculture, logistics, and food waste technologies to find and accelerate the adoption of them across the food system. We accomplished this by bringing together startup companies with corporations to identify, develop, and test solutions in real-world commercial use cases.

CookBrite is a mobile service to help people to plan, shop, and cook their nightly dinner. Leveraging machine learning, CookBrite OCRs your grocery receipts, ties it to a structured database of food, and curates receipts to make for dinner with what you already have on hand. CookBrite is available on Android. In the fall of 2015, CookBrite pivoted into MetaBrite, a B2B company for receipt capture and data analysis for consumer purchase behaviors.

Deliv partnered with over 225 national and regional retailers including Macy's and Footlocker as well as the six largest mall operators to offer same-day delivery using a network of crowdsourced drivers. As the VP of Product, I developed the strategy, requirements, and UI for a suite of products that include mobile apps used by drivers and in-mall runners, the operations platform used by service agents to plan and execute deliveries and manage exceptions, the products used by retailers to create delivery orders (including a web-based order entry system and a suite of APIs), and the internal data and analytics platform. Select participating retailers include Macy's, FootLocker, Neiman-Marcus, Bloomingdale's, Williams-Sonoma, 1-800-Flowers, and many more.

Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Plum District was the leading commerce destination for mom. As the head of product, I managed product management, user experience, and web production. As part of the management team, I helped to raise Series A funding from Kleiner Perkins and General Catalyst Partners. I grew Plum District to over 100,000 monthly unique visitors within 3 months of our May 2010 launch and a subscriber base of over 400,000 in its first year at using social media and viral product features to drive customer acquisition. In less than a year, Plum District was established as the leading deal site for Moms.

I was responsible for the monetization of search and the distribution of search and advertising products to partners to grow revenues, number of users, and share of the Internet search market of Ask Jeeves in the US and Europe.

I was responsible for the end-to-end buyer experience on eBay's US and International sites. In this role I developed and executed the product strategies for Buyer Activation, Global Trade, Advertising and Sponsorships, Merchandising, and Selling Tools.
