As Head of Investment Operations the position is responsible for managing and leading a team of people responsible for a variety of portfolio and investment administration functions, including portfolio trading, corporate action processing, cash flow management, International Equities, Managed Portfolios (SMA's) both domestic and international, in-specie transfers, and Super processing whilst also managing the business relationships with sub-custodians, approved Investment Managers, Brokers, Licensee relationships and system vendors.

As Operations Manager the position is responsible for managing and leading a team of people responsible for a variety of portfolio and investment administration functions, including account establishment, client transitions, portfolio trading, corporate action processing, cash flow management, whilst also managing the business relationships with sub-custodians, approved Investment Managers, Brokers and system vendors.

Responsible for product management of Macquarie's managed account products, including individually managed accounts (IMAs) and separately managed accounts (SMAs)Project management of new product initiatives, including launch and termination of model portfolios and managed funds to platform, set up of new third party margin lending facilities, and direct debit functionality plus assisted in the development of Independent Financial Adviser product offering (including badged offer documents, platform system changes and online reporting enhancements).

Responsible for the running of Next Financials’ Separately Managed Account, Individually Managed Account and Managed Account Portfolio Service products with in excess of $500 million in current assets and liabilities.

Responsible for the management of the Operations team including compliance and control functions and management reporting. It has responsibility for managing, leading and developing team members to ensure delivery of:- 1. Services related to Next’s products suite 2. Development and maintenance of operating processes and procedures 3. Development of interventions to streamline and implement process improvements.
