When I was a kid, He-Man Masters of the Universe and Transformers were all the rage. My friends and I would work out new and interesting ways of wrecking Skeletor and his goofy squad daily. At one point, the Autobots and Decepticons joined forces to retake Castle Grey Skull from a salty faction of COBRA and at least one action figure ended up on the roof. This sense of play and imagination hard wired a passion for world-building and storytelling that would eventually lead me to a professional career in advertising... As well as a healthy fear of heights.I take great pride in collaboration, team building, and working with clients to meet their goals while selfishly scratching that creative itch. This is why I love multimedia production and ideation. It takes a team, a village, a family of teams living in villages. My passion for craft is only advanced by my passion for working with, and developing people in a creative space. My specialties are broad across pre, principal, and post-production disciplines. Most midwest filmmakers tend to wear many hats. As a lifelong learner, I enjoy resolving the ever present challenges an agency or in-house creative position faces day-to-day. - I have worked with Advantage, Basecamp, Scoro, Asana, and to some extent for long format or narrative pieces, Celtx. I was constantly in trouble for doodling in class so you know I'm a storyboard guy. - My familiarity with lighting design and techniques, as well as experience with Blackmagic, Canon, and Sony camera platforms, allows me to troubleshoot effectively and work efficiently on set or during a shoot.-My proficiency with the Adobe Creative suite, Final Cut Pro, Blender 3D, and a host of supplemental plugins and Ai tools offers a robust post-production quiver to clients and creative directors. Finally, what I really am is a super awesome Jui-Jitsu and Soccer Dad.
