Gurufish is a funk-pop band out of Atlanta, GA that's been on the scene forever! The coolest gigs I've gotten to play were opening slots for Parliament Funkadelic and Boys 2 Men. And lots of festivals!

Live, improvisations music with hip hop vocals. We released one album and won 3rd place in Best Of Orlando's live band category in 2006. We toured both the east and west coast of the US.

Polyvibe is another record label I started many moons ago. We built the catalog up to eleven releases, many of which are still available on streaming services, and threw some killer parties.

I created a series of conversations about the music business for our program, and developed many of the original promotional materials. I hosted the podcast, was the lead interviewer, and prepped all the guestsI learned the reality of what it takes to release regular content and hit deadlines.

The Egyptian Zombie Robot Party Machine was Central Florida's premier electronic / experimental / avant garde musical showcase event for two and a half years.This weekly showcase moved across three venues, and was honored with full venue showcase events at the Florida Music Festival in 2004 and 2005.As one of the four members of the EZRPM collective, I was accountable for event management and promotions. This involved every aspect of the event life cycle except talent buying.Once you've been a concert promoter, you can handle almost any kind of event!

I played keyboards in this project, and collaborated on some of the original songs. We played around Orlando, FL, including an appearance with percussionist Giovanni Hidalgo. Our set lists consisted of hard pocket funk, 70's rare groove and soul, Latin standards, and some classic rock/pop tunes.

This was a weekly open mic event hosted at Will's Pub by the Solillaquists of Sound. I sat in with the band for about 6 months, mostly playing organ. The music was completely improvisational, and we would spend the night laying grooves for rappers to freestyle and test their verses over.

I actively participated in developing the initial business model, making physical albums, artist development projects, manufacturing, event promotions, and content creation for Nophi.I cut my teeth on all aspects of the music business, including artist development, booking and logistics, talent management, and how to end a project with more money than I started with.
