Utilize drawings, specifications, industry standards, and sketches, adapting inspection measuring devicesand procedures when necessary. Read and interpret technical drawings and specification requirements.• Work closely with Engineering managers and other system ME to change control processes EngineeringChange Orders (ECO), Supplier Problem Sheets (SPS), Engineering Specification Waivers (ESW).Knowledge of OMS/IOMS.• Develop, maintain, ensure implementation, and evaluate conformance to inspection and testing plans(ITPs), Incoming Quality Control plan (IQCPs), quality plans.• Attend and be part of PQC and PFMEA projects.• Knowledgeable on TOQ/LEAN Manufacturing• Extensive experience with MRB (Material Review Board) process and fostering cross-functional collaboration• Provide Manufacturing Engineer support for whole BU DMR/MRRT process, inspecting and findingroot cause on part failure along with UD (user decision). Creates biweekly report on MFG DMR/MRRT,UD and processing 2500+ DMR QNs/NCs every quarter. Perform Global and WIP inventory stockpurges on parts as required.• Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication ofparts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Specify or perform significantly complexengineering analysis.• Inspect and close inspection lots for MFG Ops. Perform global and MFG stock purges on parts and findthe root cause of failure and working on projects to resolve parts issues.• Provide technical support and training to Applied and contract manufacturing resources and engineering,including piece part suppliers related to assemblies/modules.• Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling andprocess requirements. Use DFx principles to reduce manufacturing and/or product costs and improvedelivered product quality. Work on projects related to in-house Logistics DMR/NCs.
