Mike is Head of Development for Mace new NZC housing and development business. Mike is driven by a the need to address the broken housing market in the UK by seizing the opportunity to build the better, greener homes we need. The homes we make will be centered on the landscape, delivered sustainably and, once complete, can be occupied with no carbon footprint. It is a significant step from the typical bulk house-builder offer, but a step the industry must take to respond to the Climate Emergency. By challenging market norms and accepted modes of delivery, we will evolve a new approach to house-building which delivers greater value, certainty and quality, for investors; for occupiers we will create beautiful homes and communities that people want to live in whilst ensuring fuel poverty ends by eliminating reliance on fossil fuels and associated market fluctuations. Mike will harness his growth and development skills to expand the team that will drive the housing sector transformation on behalf of Mace's newest business.Prior to joining Mace embryonic housing vehicle, Mike founded the Mace Winchester office, growing the business from one person, to a multi-disciplinary consultancy group employing 80 people with an annual turnover in excess of £10m.
