For the last 2 years, I’ve been working with one of the largest financial service companies in the world to help them build the security, governance and operating controls necessary to give them the confidence to run workloads on AWS at scale. I’ve been engaged with the customer onsite, working both strategically and tactically as necessary. • Advised the customer on Agile / DevOps practice while understanding their constraints. • Advised the customer on best practices for AWS service usage. • Developed a code-based migration pattern to improve application team’s migration velocity while also demonstrating security and architecture best practices. • Built foundational lambda security / governance / operating functions.➢ Automated creation of S3 endpoint policy to whitelist buckets owned by the account➢ Automated pushing of VPC subnet free ip address counts to CloudWatch to enable alerting➢ Automated aggregation of EBS metrics to CloudWatch.
