Supervise and coordinate activities of Lab technicians engaged in maintaining and continuously improving in Quality Control and Lab HSSE operation, developing complex analyitical methods, ensure all incoming raw materials and finished products meet group quality standards by routine testing.Develop and implement strategies for effective workload management, taking into account both business and strategic importance, customer communication and engagement to improve operational efficiency. Experience of characterizing petrochemical products from crude, LPG, naphtha, kerosene, diesel, lubricant, vacuum and atmospheric residues as products and their applications.

Lead the Analytical Section of the Refining Lab in a variety of analytical techniques regarding to the Crude oil and Pilot Plant sample characterization. This requires an understanding of a wide range of analytical techniques and their relevance to the field in order to achieve Research Project goals.Find new opportunities to share/implement best practices, developing fast analytical feedback, increase efficiency, and foster globally consistent operating models.Participate as a member of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) Working Group 36 regarding to the Precision matters and WG 40 about distillation.Project leader about Analytical Work closely with the development technologists to ensure application of best laboratory practices, lab standards and all HSE regulations in all the Repsol Industrial facilities.

Working as project leader on biofuels in the Oil Products Laboratory (OPL) in the Higher Technical School of Mining Engineers in Madrid (UPM). Implementing accreditation of ISO/IEC 17025 for General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration to be deemed technically competent.Perform general laboratory duties including general housekeeping, equipment calibration and maintenance responsibilities, organising and QC of incoming samples.Leading research projects in biofuels technology such as pyrofuels from biomass, ethanol, FAME, etc. and their compatibilities mixed with fossil fuels.Responsible for teaching in practice classes in the Oil Products Laboratory for IFP (French Petroleum Institute) and ETSIM (Higher Technical School of Mining Engineers in Madrid) students.Developing new analytical methods to characterizise Thermal Stability analysis of Heat Transfer Fluids (HTF) in Sunplower plants.

Incorporation to the Advance Analytical group in the Technology Research Centre (CTR) of Repsol YPF. Developing new methods by Liquid Chromatography and Mass detector.Plan, execute and document lab test under the guidance of the development technologists and carry out laboratory work as required to develop experimental analysis.“Security in the lab”, work related accidents course imparted by Repsol YPF.

Participation in the projects as "Water and Pesticide Analysis by means of gas chromatography with mass detector", "Selectivity characterization from the different stationary phases, liquid-gas, in gas chromatography and their corresponding with their solute interactions". Developing an Analytic method for the determination of sulfamides by liquid chromatography with mass detector. Optimization of the different variables, electrospray conditions and ion trap analyzed, approaching to the maximum sensitivity in MS/MS.

Participation in the project “Aerobic Treatment of Thermofilic Bacterias in Industrial Chemical Residues”, in the High Technical School of Industrial Engineneering of Madrid (ETSII).Assist with minor product development projects under the guidance of the technologists and provide regular feedback on progress.
