Hello! My name is Miguel López Rivera. I am originally from Úbeda, a town in southern Spain, and went to high school at UWC Maastricht, the Netherlands. I obtained a BS and a MS in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale University, with a certificate in Education Studies.Currently, I’m pursuing a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Harvard University, exploring microbiology and its intersections with immunology. Apart from scientific research, I am very interested in the fields of education, mentoring, and science outreach.In my free time, I love practicing martial arts and creative writing!
