Research Assistant
Assisted professors in developing a wireless power transfer receiver prototype with Phase II EPA fundingSuccessfully modeled the receiver using Keysight ADS for system optimization and printed the board for testingHand soldered surface components to evaluate different power levels and load resistancesThe output voltage of 4.2V was measured from a distance of 20 feet, confirming the ability to activate low-power IoT’s and microcontrollers that operate at the common 3.3V level. This research successfully demonstrates that wireless power transfer can be received using a 2-stage RF-DC charge pumpCollaborated with our team to present research at the 2017 EPA P3 Conference in Washington D.C. with the idea of reducing aircraft weight by the replacement of non-flight essential wiring with our wireless power transfer device.
