Dr. Mihaela Ivan Holtz, Psy.D., LMFT is the founder of Creative Minds Psychotherapy™ - Psychotherapy for the Artists, People in Film/TV, Performing and Fine Arts. She is passionate about working with bright, motivated, and insightful creative people and performers; nevertheless, stuck in unsuccessful cycles due to childhood emotional experiences. Creative people and performers who are driven to succeed, yet something is not working. What happened earlier in their life is holding them back; stuck in cycles that are't getting them where they want. Often they fell unhappy and frustrated about their personal and/or professional life. They may feel depressed, anxious, unproductive, and unsuccessful. They may struggle with addictions. Mihaela Ivan Holtz has a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, is certified in Psychoanalytic Approaches from The Wright Institute Los Angeles, and is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr. Ivan is trained in psychodynamic/psychoanalysis approaches, attachment theories, the neurobiology of psychotherapy and interpersonal relationships, meditation, mindfulness, family systems, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused techniques.
