Overall responsibility for the activity and the results of the department. Developing standard operating procedures for the department: criteria for processing warranties, due dates, forms to be used, steps to be followed in the process etc. Train all authorized service agents in all main aspects of these procedures.Ensuring local legal compliance: certify with ICPE all files for imported tools (as per current regulations), verify and approve (on a regular basis) the technical certificates of compliance for all equipment in use in the company’s warehouse, translate the documents needed for custom clearance, provide work safety training (as per local current requirements). Relation with authorized service agents' network: on a regular basis, audit and analyze their activity, providing technical support and advice. Based on the results, make all necessary recommendations for adjusting/ changing current procedures, implementing new ones (if needed) etc. Assess training needs (upon request), develop and deliver specialized training programs, evaluate post-training performance. Relation with suppliers (Makita Austria, DOLMAR Gmbh. Germany), dealers' network and end-users: advice for proper usage of tools they sale/ buy, final decision in all out-of-ordinary warranty cases, track of all service requests, informing them on trends identified based on the tracking of all service requests etc.
