• Proactive and Active Inspections for infrastructure buildings, footpaths, roads, driveways to council assets
• Assist with the development and monitoring of performance measures for the work unit, contractors and service authorities
• Assist in establishing benchmark indicators and compare work units performance against comparable services
• Liaise with service authorities to ensure asset and infrastructure protection is adhered to in accordance with Council policies and procedures
• Ensure that work practices are followed to minimise public risk
• Conduct regular meetings with asset strategy and engineering services staff to discuss exceptions and issues in relation to drainage and asset requests

• Preparation of town planning schemes which includes road network, round about, street lights, public display boards, with co ordination and support by town planner and other higher authorities.
• Topographic drawings including contour generation, digitization of maps, featured survey plan, town planning scheme development plan etc.
• Manage previous survey data, maintain register of town planning scheme
• Preparation, documentation and management of drawings.
• Preparation of complete range of drainage / sewerage technical drawings (see above) including plans, elevations, sections and Infrastructure Department documentation
• Preservation of old drawings, transfer old documentation to digitized format (i.e. conversion to CAD drawings).
