Mihir accepts instructions as sole or junior counsel across civil, commercial, constitutional, intellectual property rights, banking, and real estate related litigation.Prior to commencing practice as Counsel, Mihir was a Legal Manager at TransUnion CIBIL Ltd. and prior thereto, an Associate with Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe, Advocate and Solicitors.Mihir has gathered considerable experience in handling litigations and arbitrations. He has advised and represented several multinational companies and industrial houses.During his tenure with Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe, Mihir handled several arbitrations arising out of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contracts, Share Holders / Share Purchase Agreements, etc.. He was extensively involved in litigations under Public Premises Act, Major Port Trust Act and also advised port trusts on contract and tender negotiations. He was also involved in challenging the constitutionality of the property tax regime set out under the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888. During his time with TransUnion CIBIL Ltd., Mihir was involved in successfully procuring Anton Pillar and John Doe orders in several suits for infringement of trademarks and passing off action. He extensively also handled disputes arising out of, and advised in relation to, the Credit Information Companies (Regulations) Act, 2005, RBI Master Circulars and Data Protection and Privacy Laws.
