How would I describe my work? I often wonder what should I say when people are asking "what do you do for living". To put it simple, I try to predict the future. Sounds cool, right? And it is!Computer simulation is the method that we use in our process analysis team, when predicting the behaviour of different process systems such as Nuclear Power Plants. To be more exact, I use Apros "Advanced Process Simulation" software which has proven to be powerful tool for various analysis tasks.Using state of the art tools is however not enough. Tools are just tools and people make mistakes using them. Therefore I like to use "old school" methods as well. Order of magnitude estimations and simple hand calculations can be just as important.I'm a strong believer of Science and Technology, it creates a better tomorrow and reveals the miracles of nature. When I'm not in the office, I like to spend my free time beside a river with a fly fishing rod in my hand thinking about words of Whitman;"To me the sea is a continual miracle;The fishes that swim—the rocks—the motion of the waves—the ships, with men in them,What stranger miracles are there?"
