Avionics system Worked with wideband high-speed sampling receiver for an avionics platform as a FPGA/PLD developer. Helped build a scripting environment for simplifying register access between software and the programmable logic. Autogenerated code for both firmware and software which could be used directly during development.Radar systems projectHelped updating a radar system looking at new FPGA devices. Looked at future needs for both software and PLD. Had close contact with distributors of the circuits.Electronic SurveillanceWorked with ELINT system as a TDA (technical design authority) for the digital processor in the systems. The digital processors main function is to digitize, detect and categorise incoming RF signals. Acted as team leader for a team consisting of both software and PLD developers.

Worked on a embedded linux platform cross compiling new applications to the CPU architecture. In addition, I designed and implemented a fully-functional access point, handling the back-end development, within the platform. Work also includes optimizing application footprint to enable execution from small flash memories.

Part time job where we developed a concept to learn an ABB robot to mimic a humans movement and manipulation of objects. The concept is called learn by demonstration which means that the robot should mimic movements made by an operator.Linux with ROS (robot operating system) was used to build the software application. To capture the movement of the operator a camera with stereoscopic vision was used. The system was tested on an IRB140 ABB robot.

Thesis work were we developed a new type of tactile sensor for the industry. Project included design and implementation of a complete system with the sensor integrated. The sensor itself was a piezoelectric element which was used to detect vibrations between two materials sliding against each other. Signal processing with the sensor was made using DFT for frequency analysis using various software tools. Several median filters was applied to the signal from the sensor.A signal board was designed to convert between different voltage levels within the system. The board also contained an ADC to convert the analog signal from the sensors to an FPGA circuit which was used for all logical calculations and decision-making in the system.

Designed and implemented a hand held display with real-time streaming of pictures and videos. An FPGA was used to control a LCD panel, ethernet PHY and MAC, and an SDRAM which was used as the frame buffer.A Windows application was built to send photos and videos to the display.
