I have been leading my team and department forward in creating a more streamlined approach to how we effectively utilise our time and manpower to maximise output.In Summer/Autumn 2013 I attended two, one week long courses in The Hague, Holland, obtaining the theoretical and analytical tools to become a level two (green) 6sigma. Turning the data we collect into usable, decipherable quantities and values to develop how we work is a brilliant challenge. It's also hugely rewarding when I get to see it work and the process developments improve what we do and substantiate the work I put in.My past work background allows me, in conjunction with my current role, to have a comprehensive overview on the process of exporting the highly valuable and very important equipment the UK has to offer, particularly to the Oil and Gas exploration and Deep Sea mining industries.
