I worked on the LEGALsphere product, which used Datomic, Cassandra, Flask and Python on the server-side, and AngularJS, HTML5, Javascript, and CSS3 on the client-side. Helped develop the user interface for Bridgeway Calendar Link and the Accruals module. This work also involved making sure that the application was responsive on mobile devices, particularly on the Apple iPad. Conducted extensive research into Big Data Analytics, including use of Hadoop2, MapReduce, Spark, and Mahout. I configured a Hadoop2 cluster on OpenSUSE Linux machines in Amazon EC2 for Bridgeway, and wrote programs using the Mahout library that demonstrated use of the software in the area of clustering. Worked daily in Unix on Mac OS X, in virtual machines running OpenSUSE on Mac OS X, and in Linux instances created in Amazon EC2.Wrote client-side tests using Protractor.Used Git for code repository.

I used JavaScript, jQuery, CoffeeScript, HTML5, CSS3,LESS CSS, MS SQL Server, and Java within the Play Framework to add features and maintain this mobile web application. The application is optimized for execution on mobile devices, such as the Apple iPad and Microsoft Surface.

I was a member of the Interactive Technology Group at ICON. We developed an Interactive Voice/Web Response System (IVR/IWR) for use by patients undergoing pharmaceutical trials. Developed Java code for the framework underlying the IVRS/IWRS. Used Google Web Toolkit for front end, and Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) on the server. The database was Microsoft SQLServer. I helped develop the system that exports prompts for the purpose of translation and recording, and worked on the Continuous Inspection Tool for inspecting code written for specific pharmaceutical studies.

I developed, enhanced, and maintained a Java Swing application that was used to track the dollar earnings at risk (DEaR) for positions in actual and theoretical portfolios of trading strategies. I also enhanced software to back-test trading strategies, and wrote real-time Java Swing applications to allow traders to manage entry/exit of positions in a variety of different strategies.
