Lead and coordinate the production activities to ensure maximum utilization and proper work flow regarding all aspects of assigned manufacturing. Responsible for meeting productivity, budget, quality, regulatory, safety, and other manufacturing requirements, procedures, best practices and indicators. Responsible for meeting management and customer expectations.Coordinate and implement approved production schedule by communicating goals to department, determine overtime needs based on production status, and generate weekly and monthly status reports.Responsible for insuring optimal results in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost for the production area.Implement corrective measure procedures and work methods in order to improve quality of products.Identify production bottlenecks and help resolve by researching process improvements. Interface with Sales and Installation Departments to ensure a quality product.Communicate with the maintenance department and coordinate as required the resolution of equipment repairs and problems. Monitor availability of parts and communicate shortages with Buyers to ensure production schedule is met.Ensure proper documentation is completed for closed work orders.Interview, hire, and train Fabrication employees. Conduct performance appraisals, career development, and corrective action as necessary. Maintain performance and training files.Verify and approve timesheets, transmit automatic timekeeping spreadsheet to payroll.Provide continuous improvement to manufacturing processes.Support Product and Quality Improvement Teams.
