Systems Engineer Lead
CurrentI’m focused on engineering towards the Modern Work Place leveraging Microsoft Azure capabilities within the E5 licensing space. Most recent effort is designing and implementing the Microsoft Endpoint DLP, AV and EDR capabilities throughout the company. This involves collaboration and facilitation across multiple platforms within the company as well as collaboration with multiple engineering teams at Microsoft and partner vendors.A parallel initiative we're architecting towards is shifting from a Hybrid join solution to a pure AAD solution with the long range goal of phasing out SCCM as Intune capabilities increase in the Azure space. This will open up more employee offerings with Choose Your Own Device (CYOD) in the beginning, and eventually leading to a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solution with a rich application experience.Previous to my current Azure work, I managed of the entire print and imaging space, where I architected and lead a unification of product lines effort to consolidate our vendor footprint. I shifted Progressive to a Managed Print Services (MPS) arrangement with all devices under one umbrella, which streamlined support and consumable delivery while decreasing the overall cost of the service. In the MPS design, I negotiated favorable pricing on their management solutions, which set my successor up to further evolve the space with options such as Secure Print.
