I retired from the firm, but not yet from life. I spent time reflecting what I should like to do that will provide satisfaction both to me and my fellow travellers. Well, actually will provide satisfaction to me. With the faint hope that my fellow travellers will not be too disturbed by my choices. I have pursued a number of ideas and while the initial list is unaltered, the executional emphasis has varied . Hopefully, I shall continue to add more ideas until I have accumulated a list of aspirational endeavours that extends beyond a lifetime. Live and growing at its successor www.curiouspostcards2.wordpress.com)Studying a language other than english; ( Spanish selected and endeavours continue)Global motorcycle safaris;(Some success but very unpopular with wife)Contributing in the not for profit sector; (Considering deletion next time I update in Year 12 - 2024) Operating a small business; (Nothing has yet appealed)Development of property for tawdry gain; (Many, many projects completed overinvesting in the same property. These have provided me insights into tradespeople and local govt processes)Injection of more culture into my already refined existence; (Tick)And putting into place more of that consistent and repetitive health advice provided to me by the medical fraternity each year that has been neglected by me with the same repetitive consistency.(Tick)

I arrived on the doorstep of PwC a fresh faced graduate in Manchester in 1981.I arrived on the doorstep of PwC Melbourne with unrestrained enthusiasm in 1987.I was admitted to the Partnership in 1994 with a steely determination to make a difference .I retire from the Partnership in 2012 with a sense of satisfaction from the past and a sense of positivity towards the future.
